Jakub Rzeszutko 7f31857419 shell: add generic RX buffer flush function
Added a generic function `z_shell_backend_rx_buffer_flush` to clear
the RX buffer when resuming the shell. The function repeatedly calls
the backend's `read` API until the buffer is empty or a maximum of
1000 iterations is reached. This prevents unintended command
execution after `shell_start`.

Pisit Sawangvonganan 0875f978a1 shell: rename `shell_xxx_impl` wrapper functions to `shell_fprintf_xxx`
Since the `_impl` naming convention is intended for internal use only,
renaming these functions to the `shell_fprintf_xxx` variant is
more suitable for calls outside the module:
- `shell_info_impl` to `shell_fprintf_info`
- `shell_print_impl` to `shell_fprintf_normal`
- `shell_warn_impl` to `shell_fprintf_warn`
- `shell_error_impl` to `shell_fprintf_error`

Pisit Sawangvonganan 8b29abae26 shell: introduce `shell_xxx_impl` wrapper functions for output macros
Refactor shell output macros to minimize caller overhead by eliminating
direct `color` parameter passing:
- Introduce wrapper functions: `shell_info_impl`, `shell_print_impl`,
  `shell_warn_impl`, `shell_error_impl`.
- Replace `shell_fprintf` in macros with these new wrappers.
- Update `shell_hexdump_line` to use the new wrappers,
  minimizing caller overhead.

Jungo Lin 203afb1c8f shell: fix index out bound issue
In order to prevent index out of bounds access of the sh->ctx->cmd_buff

This ensures that the array will not be accessed beyond its boundaries.

Brian Moran 1671ff0405 shell: Add a configuration for not printing shell messages
The shell currently prints out `: command not found` and
`Please specify a subcommand.` when invalid commands are
sent.

This can cause issues in certain situations, such as if a U-Boot
console in interactive mode is on the other end of the shell's
UART, where the U-Boot console will stop booting the device
if it receives any characters, and it will print out strings that
the shell then sees as commands. This causes the shell to send
out the messages above, preventing the device running
U-Boot on the other end from booting up.

I added the configurations
`CONFIG_SHELL_MSG_SPECIFY_SUBCOMMAND` and
`CONFIG_SHELL_MSG_CMD_NOT_FOUND` to allow disabling
these messages.

Jakub Rzeszutko 2c95e3f9f7 shell: Fix shell init procedure when configured as inactive on startup
The previous behavior of the CONFIG_SHELL_AUTOSTART option, where setting
it to 'n' disabled shell interaction at startup but kept the logger
active as a shell backend, was inconsistent.
Now, when CONFIG_SHELL_AUTOSTART is set to 'n', both the shell and the
logger are inactive at startup. Calling the shell_start function will
activate them and print any pending logs. This change ensures a more
consistent and logical behavior regarding shell and logger activity at
startup.

Additionally, now when the shell_stop function is called, both the shell
and the logger are halted. This enhancement ensures that stopping
the shell also effectively stops the associated logger.

Hunter Searle 4b14d4e4e3 Shell: Edit shell to store/retrieve return values
This change to the shell API enables the user to retrieve the
return code of the most recently run shell command. This is
useful both for users wanting specific information beyond the print
statements in a command, but especially for automated users
that prefer a simple return code to parsing human readable text.
This was tested using all default shell commands, as well as
eeprom, flash, and i2c, where specific errors could be forced.
In all cases, the correct return value was returned by the new
retval command.

Jakub Rzeszutko a10732071b lib: getopt: rework and extend getopt library
Getopt has been rework in this way that calling it does not require
extra state parameter and its execution is thread safe.
Global parameters describing the state of the getopt function have been
made available to ensure full API compatibility in using this library.
However, referencing these global variables directly is not thread
safe. In order to get the state of the getopt function for the thread
that is currently using it, call: getopt_state_get();

Extended the library with getopt_long and getopt_long_only functions.

Moved getopt libary from utils to posix.

Uday Ammu a3185d0e19 shell: optionally configure priority of the shell thread
Currently, in Zephyr the shell thread is the lowest priority i.e.
K_LOWEST_APPLICATION_THREAD_PRIO. Due to this all the other threads can
preempt the shell thread. Proposed solution is to add Kconfig which
gives the flexibility to change the priority of the shell thread.

This is now implemented using a new Kconfig variable
SHELL_THREAD_PRIORITY_OVERRIDE. By setting this option
SHELL_THREAD_PRIORITY can be set.
