Charlie Savage a557be3f21 Fixed compile problem on windows. The code defines a template called max - however, Windows already defines a macro called max. The fix is to undefine the macro.

William S Fulton 55d3b5dcca Improved support for native Windows compilers. 
It is no longer necessary to explicitly export the SWIG_init DLL function by passing flags to the linker.
