Eric Biggers 5d90d052c4 f2fs: avoid utf8_strncasecmp() with unstable name

If the dentry name passed to ->d_compare() fits in dentry::d_iname, then
it may be concurrently modified by a rename.  This can cause undefined
behavior (possibly out-of-bounds memory accesses or crashes) in
utf8_strncasecmp(), since fs/unicode/ isn't written to handle strings
that may be concurrently modified.

Fix this by first copying the filename to a stack buffer if needed.
This way we get a stable snapshot of the filename.

Eric Biggers 39bc9462f4 f2fs: split f2fs_d_compare() from f2fs_match_name()

Sharing f2fs_ci_compare() between comparing cached dentries
(f2fs_d_compare()) and comparing on-disk dentries (f2fs_match_name())
doesn't work as well as intended, as these actions fundamentally differ
in several ways (e.g. whether the task may sleep, whether the directory
is stable, whether the casefolded name was precomputed, whether the
dentry will need to be decrypted once we allow casefold+encrypt, etc.)

Just make f2fs_d_compare() implement what it needs directly, and rework
f2fs_ci_compare() to be specialized for f2fs_match_name().

Eric Biggers 33b2b7ab83 f2fs: don't return vmalloc() memory from f2fs_kmalloc()

kmalloc() returns kmalloc'ed memory, and kvmalloc() returns either
kmalloc'ed or vmalloc'ed memory.  But the f2fs wrappers, f2fs_kmalloc()
and f2fs_kvmalloc(), both return both kinds of memory.

It's redundant to have two functions that do the same thing, and also
breaking the standard naming convention is causing bugs since people
assume it's safe to kfree() memory allocated by f2fs_kmalloc().  See
e.g. the various allocations in fs/f2fs/compress.c.

Fix this by making f2fs_kmalloc() just use kmalloc().  And to avoid
re-introducing the allocation failures that the vmalloc fallback was
intended to fix, convert the largest allocations to use f2fs_kvmalloc().

Chao Yu fb8f6eade6 f2fs: handle readonly filesystem in f2fs_ioc_shutdown()

Konstantin Khlebnikov 25bf10cdb0 f2fs: report delalloc reserve as non-free in statfs for project quota

This reserved space isn't committed yet but cannot be used for
allocations. For userspace it has no difference from used space.

Randall Huang 9dea5d4e91 f2fs: fix to avoid memory leakage in f2fs_listxattr

In f2fs_listxattr, there is no boundary check before
memcpy e_name to buffer.
If the e_name_len is corrupted,
unexpected memory contents may be returned to the buffer.

Sahitya Tummala e985ba0c61 f2fs: Add a new CP flag to help fsck fix resize SPO issues

Add and set a new CP flag CP_RESIZEFS_FLAG during
online resize FS to help fsck fix the metadata mismatch
that may happen due to SPO during resize, where SB
got updated but CP data couldn't be written yet.

Sahitya Tummala d2d2188945 f2fs: Fix mount failure due to SPO after a successful online resize FS

Even though online resize is successfully done, a SPO immediately
after resize, still causes below error in the next mount.

This is because after FS metadata is updated in update_fs_metadata()
if the SBI_IS_DIRTY is not dirty, then CP will not be done to reflect
the new user_block_count.

Sahitya Tummala cc3e91071f f2fs: fix the panic in do_checkpoint()

There could be a scenario where f2fs_sync_meta_pages() will not
ensure that all F2FS_DIRTY_META pages are submitted for IO. Thus,
resulting in the below panic in do_checkpoint() -

f2fs_bug_on(sbi, get_pages(sbi, F2FS_DIRTY_META) &&
				!f2fs_cp_error(sbi));

This can happen in a low-memory condition, where shrinker could
also be doing the writepage operation (stack shown below)
at the same time when checkpoint is running on another core.

down_write
f2fs_submit_page_write -> by this time, this page in page cache is tagged
			as PAGECACHE_TAG_WRITEBACK and PAGECACHE_TAG_DIRTY
			is cleared, due to which f2fs_sync_meta_pages()
			cannot sync this page in do_checkpoint() path.
